SELECTING THE RIGHT MODEL

In order to accurately determine chlorine demand and choose the correct model of chlorine generator please provide us with some information about each individual swimming pool. Please gather as much information as possible from the following checklist:

  • Volume of water
  • Surface area
  • Maximum number of people per day in the pool
  • Number of hours per day the pool is open for public (working hours)
  • Average number of people per hour who can be in the pool at the same time (= maximum number of people per day divided by working hours)
  • Is it kids' pool or adult pool or mixed (kids & adults) pool?
  • How many hours per day you are planning to run your filtration & chlorination systems
  • Number of water features in the pool and their description (e.g. water slides, river, fountain, etc..)
  • Finish of the pool walls, floor, coping and pavement around the pool (e.g. paint, concrete, epoxy, fibreglass, tiles, etc…)
  • Climate where pool is located (tropics, sub-tropics, etc.. -- for open pools only)
  • Heated or non-heated pool
  • Maximum water temperature during summer period
  • Type of chlorine used and the amount per week (for existing pools only)
  • Concentration of chlorine used (for existing pools only)
  • Total Dissolved Solids concentration in the water (for existing pools only)
  • Application required: fresh water pool, salt water pool or sea water pool
  • Concentration of chlorine residual required to be maintained in the pool water
  • Will pH dosing system or any other automated chemical controller be used?
