Australian Innovative Systems (AIS) was established in 1977 manufacturing a range of quality equipment for the local market. The company changed ownership in 1992 and the new owners invested considerable resources into research and development to incorporate state of the art technology into salt chlorinators. AIS rapidly expanded their operation to accommodate the national market and for the last decade have expanded into the international market particularly in the field of commercial and resort swimming pools. Tens of thousands of satisfied pool owners in Australia and around the world are enjoying the benefits of the AUTO CHLOR salt chlorination systems.

We specialize in manufacturing salt chlorinators, chlorine generators and active anode material for various applications in the chlor-alkali industry. All salt chlorinators in the AUTO CHLOR range come with the option of self-cleaning (reverse polarity). We also supply a wide range of replacement electrolytic cells for both single and reverse polarity models.

AUTO CHLOR cells are built using the latest technology and the highest quality materials available ensuring peak performance over the life of the cell. Solid plate high-grade titanium is used in all AUTO CHLOR cells for the anode and cathode plates. The anode coating process is strictly controlled and monitored to ensure the cells plates are evenly coated with the optimal micron thickness to maintain peak performance for many years. The new generation of bi-polar cells were developed to improve the ratio of chlorine generation to power consumption with a compact cell design. This effectively reduces the power consumption required to produce chlorine, making the system extremely efficient.

New generation of AUTO CHLOR salt chlorinators is utilising S.M.P.S or switch mode power supplies. The R&D team at A.I.S have adapted this latest technology into the new SMC range of salt chlorinators to further improve their performance and extend the cell life considerably. SMC series chlorinators have better energy efficiency than any conventional salt chlorinators sold in the market today. The SMC chlorinators will enable the pool technician to control the reversal frequency and using time proportional power output allows the SMC series to be finely tuned to suit the individual requirement of every swimming pool.
